No fluff straight up how I feel about the OnePlus 6! What do you guys think of it?

How can you say the OnePlus 3/3T/5 screen is sharp enough but the 6 isn't when they all have the same PPI?

People are complaining about charging the phone once a day and iPhone users including me are charging their phones 4 times a day.

It's so strange... I get about 5 hrs screen on time with the OP6 and I watch a ton of videos. Im using the 6GB variant. I thought the battery life on the OP6 was amazing! Good review tho

Dude, the pixel density is still the same it was on OP3T and other older Oneplus phones. So this "fussier display" you are describing is a product of your imagination.

The display is bigger for sure, but it's only larger vertically because aspect ratio has changed. They have added more pixels vertically because of this, so the pixel density has remained the same for a long time now.

I had this phone and can confirm that the speaker is underwhelming but manageable. What really surprised my was the vibration motor: that thing was lethargic af. The screen was alright, the build quality was great and as Matthew said, the performance is top notch (no pun intended). The thing that made me return it was the glossiness of the device. I had the mirror black version which has an extremely glossy back cover and glossy paint over the aluminium frame and i scratched on it by simply putting the included case on! Imagine how it will look after a few weeks. I will probably get the matte version because it has a more muted look and more RAM. There is no other phone that has stock android and these specs at this price point (was considering the huawei but i don't like their UX).

OnePlus 6 has one of the best battery life on the market today. I'm not saying you aren't right, but with phones getting thinner and battery technology standing still for years upon years, there's not much you can do other than two main things: 1) software optimization 2) more battery efficient SoC. I don't see batteries getting bigger any time soon.

Hi Matthew, now since oneplus 6 is out, which one would you suggest? S8 or oneplus 6? For me battery, camera, ruggedness and stability matters most. Thanks in advance

I wanted to hate the 1+6 Because of the notch and higher price but as time goes on its becoming my favorite flagship phone of the year.

My Personal Opinion: I've had the OnePlus 6 for about 10 days, coming from using a Note 5 for 2.5 years. For the first few days I didn't really use the phone because I wanted to test standby time which was excellent! If I barely used the phone then I ended the day around 70%. But I play mobile games on a day to day basis so I tend to put the phone into power saver all the time (old habit with the note 5). But I do find myself having to charge up at some point despite the power saver mode if I'm gaming. Speaker isn't the greatest and the placement is terrible (good thing I use bluetooth headphones). Also auto brightness isn't great, it doesn't read lighting situations well so it's way to bright indoors and way too dim outdoors. I've been setting the brightness manually. What I do like is that it's near stock, it gets regular updates (I've gotten three in the past week), for me the gestures are fine (I haven't used an iphone x long enough to care about fluid animation, the oneplus 6 isn't as fluid but it's fast which is good enough for me), I don't really use instagram or post photos but when I do take photos, all I care is that you can clearly see what's in the photo. Despite these flaws it's still a good phone because for the price you are getting a phone with near stock android (the best imo), top internal specs, and regular updates from a company that is actively trying to make it better.

In your experience, is OP6 better than Huawei P20 (not the p20 pro) ?
