Meet the Guardians of the Galaxy: Drax

He stole the show--every line had me literally laughing out loud.  The theater was packed and you sometimes couldn't hear what was said after his lines, everyone was laughing so hard.

I don't mind this casting at all. Give the guy a chance. If he becomes a decent actor there will be tons of badass movies he could potentially do in the future.

Drax won the fight against Korath The Pursuer and killed him with his bare hands in the first GOTG movie, Drax also killed Ronan The Accuser simultenously when Drax joined hands with the other Guardians using the Infinity Power Stone against him, and destroyed Zylaks battleship in Vo.2 and did some damage to High Evolutionary in Vol.3, did people forget about that?

Love him or hate him in the wwe, dave bautista is a great person. I've been a huge fan of his since he really came out after his match with triple h at wrestle mania 21. He's a very humble person, and he's a true student to what he has done. Like in mma, he wasn't the best we've ever seen, but he didn't care. He was just excited to actually be able to train and be a part of it. And with his movie roles, he has admitted he isn't a great actor, but he is a kid in a toy store and loves the opportunities he's given. I cannot wait to see him as Drax!!!

Love Batista! I'm sure he will do a great job! I mean come on it's a Marvel movie, they don't just cast anyone who walks in off the street.

At first I was bummed that Jason Momoa passed on the role, and I was never into wrestling so I really didn't know what to make of Batista, but seeing his enthusiasm for the character makes me happy with how things turned out. An actor who doesn't want to be there can ruin a movie, and vice versa.
