In December I decided to break into the tech field. I took a Google Data Analytics course, and enrolled back into college! I'm a CS major and looking at jobs and internships right now. I'm still working on getting better at SQL, Python, and Excel, and taking a Cloud course now. It's a lot but I'm determined. I do wish I could find an entry-level position in data that will teach me SQL on the job. But I'll just network until then. I do have an opportunity for an internship with my local news station in the tech department. We will see!

Yes transition!🙌🏾 I’m currently trying to transition into data analytics and I’ve been so overwhelmed with trying to learn python, sql, excel tableau & feeling like I don’t know enough of it to apply for these roles. Also not having projects and a portfolio to prove I know the work. But hearing your story inspires me to just do it. Hi Ziv, congratulations on your role. Your journey is so relatable to mine, except for the fact that I'm switching careers to Data Analytics from being a Marketing professional for over 6 years. I could relate so much to you looking at Linkedin jobs and not applying. I've been really upskilling myself over the last few months. I've learnt Sql, Excel and Tableau. But I'm not yet confident. Knowing that you were able to get a job without taking courses is such an eye opener. I guess I just have to trust myself and believe in my sauce. Great video btw.

Extremely useful. Currently in Junior College and began looking in Financial Analyst positions and I am surprised people don't apply early. The only discouraging part is that Companies "prefer 3-6 years experience" but everything else is actually what you learn in the first 2 years of college !!! :D
