So a question. I've a galaxy s8.
Will this play audio files using the usb port, from a modern android phone?

Reason is, I've had my 10 year old avh 3100. It doesnt do flac files. And if this new unit only plays over bluetooth, it isnt an upgrade.

The idea is to use foobar2000, and using the headunit as the main dac.

i realize since May 2019 the Pioneer BLE has disappeared from the Bluetooth. without this the auto connection/auto pair function is not reliable as it doesn't connect automatically once i switch off the car and i have to go to my bluetooth connection and forget SPH-10BT and reconnect again every time. please help me

I connected mine and set it all up and we tested it by turning the car on and off but the next day i went in and it said there was no device even though we had checked it the day before and i don’t want to have to keep connecting and disconnecting my phone and forgetting the device, also we tried to set it up again but the menu button will beep but not display the menu if connected, can anyone help with this please?

after 2years of enjoable use i have big problem. Since july 2020 i use my new car, but i still use my old bmw with pioneer sph-10bt. It can not connect via bluetooth. No way. It's connecting, i see the numbers to verify but afer all it says "check if bluetooth mode is on". I tried iphone 7 plus, iphone 11, and some android devices - the same problem. What should i do?

Just set mine up.... I have no sound at all...checked all wires... like it is on mute.... any thoughts
