I think the design changes that we've been seeing over the years were all planned out from the beginning. It started with the s22 ultra, where the ultimate form would obviously be with slightly rounded corners and a pretty serious roundings on the back, but these changes would be gradually so every year the models would be distinguishable from eachother. I bet that they made the corners so sharp so that they've been there and then they could return to slightly rounded. I bet that they flattened the edges so they've been there and then the front edge can remain flat, as that is the best, and then the back edge can return to round and comfortable to hold. I bet that the s25 ultra will not have rounded back and flat edges indeed, the s26 ultra will have slightly rounded back, the s27 ultra will have a bit more rounded back and the s28 ultra, will be the final design, and the hole punch will now be under display, and we will see merged cameras on the back, and hopefully graphene batteries. Untill then, I think the smartphone design situation is a bit of a joke, especially when samsung decided that cheaper phones need thicker bezels.

Hi sal, let's face it. we all know that the ultra series is the note line in everything, but name. I'm all for an even flatter display , which is better when using the s pen .
I agree with you on the galaxy watch ultra , I love the new design, especially the new band fitting system .
