Liverpool and Klopp play football without a midfield,
this is why Napoli, Villarreal and Sevilla always find it relatively easy against them.
As for Danny Murphy, he's never heard of anyone that doesn't live in his neighbourhood.

I liked Klopps interview, brutally honest and yes he does deserve some responsibility for the start of the season but he’s got enough credit with Liverpool that we will trust him to fix this

Keeping OX, Naby, Gomez and jones was a mistake.. These players have had chance after chance but have failed to make any impact or build any consistency! Letting Origi, Mane, Gini, Minamino go but keeping those players was a huge blunder! LFC will get top 4 this season but that is probably all they can push for because they don't have the depth anymore to compete for trophies, the squad is to thin and inconsistent. Klopp is a world class manager and his only mistake was NOT offloading the deadweight like Naby, Ox, Gomez and bringing in new players, especially midfield, milner is a great player for rotation or cup runs but him with hendo don't have the pace or creativity or strength to be part of a high pressing atatcking team!

Liverpool should’ve taken a page from Madrid’s book and refreshen their squad with younger players. Now it’s too late too many old players and not just in midfield.

Now you know how good SAF was by re-inventing the team every 4-5 years. Danny Murphy was also disrespectful to Napoli players

The midfield needed changing over year ago. This should have been a concern for Klopp and owners going into this season. Injuries prone, ageing players and lack of creativity should have been addressed in that midfield. The others areas are not owners fault, some players are burnt out, some complacent and our tactics are becoming outdated and easy to play against.

Would like to see us play deep on occasion so our team can get use to a shape without the ball like Klopps 3rd season which we did against some teams. We pulled teams out and broke with pace. This high line now is too much of a risk against certain teams and we need to mix it up.

Danny is 100% correct all these players wrapped in cotton wool all their career's, it's time for klopp to stop being their mate and to kick them into shape, Trent's decision not to track back last night is an insult to all Liverpool supporters, we accept loss of form but lack of effort is a disgrace

Henderson isn’t at the level he was and has had a few injuries, when Thiago is not in the midfield especially in tough away games we really do struggle to keep the ball and without the high press from our midfield teams can pass through us and be one v one with our centre backs. We desperately need matip and Thiago and a fit midfield and front 4 to have any chance of challenging for major trophies again. Liverpools squad is nowhere near as strong as citys. Their best 11 is world class but klopp can’t work miracles when he is missing part of the spine of his team.

It's Klopp's last season at Dortmund all over again. OneFootball has a great timeline of that season, and it really is mirroring what is going on now.

An aging midfield with no energy for the “gegenpress”. Trent’s defensive weaknesses are becoming more costly. Complacency from other players, deflated mood, etc etc. Luis Diaz is a bright spark, but it’s not looking good overall. I think they’d a take top 4 finish right now. January will be vital for them.

Simon’s nod of respect at the end there shows he appreciates Danny’s comments. Definitely some of the most well spoken analysis of the game among the noise of people like Carragher

Spot on from Danny. They’ve been overhyped and overpraised and now they are being exposed.

Why does TAA always get an excuse "maybe a youngster at 21 that's played 3 seasons straight could be feeling it", he's 24 next month. No other player gets excused like this.

He passed straight to a Newcastle player for their goal, he didn't track player for 3 goals vs Napoli, he didn't jump with Mitrovic at the back post. In all these incidents, it was over confidence on the ball and being unable to properly defend. Positonally he's poor and he consistently ball watches.

Liverpool fans have defended him, ex liverpool players and pundits have all defended him.

When a large percentage of fans outside of Liverpool agree about the flaws in his game and it is leading to goals conceded on a consistent basis, the problem is everyone else.

We all agree salah, Robertson, VVD and Alison are amazing. We are the same about KDB, Son, Kane, Jesus, Thiago Silva and all the top players at other sides. It isn't an agenda, its what people are seeing and the percentage stats back this up

Klopp is not adjusting his tactics enough, he has been playing the same way for 7 years and teams know how to counter that

Of course the owners are to blame the level of investment is atrocious. Still havnt even replaced gini ! FSG get away with the absolute bare minimum and rely on Klopp working miracles.

When you have a midfield that isn’t even top 6 standard and you are debatably the biggest club in the world, your owners haven’t done a good job in making sure you have enough depth to compete with city. If you’re telling me an injury prone Thiago, an old and slow Henderson and Fabinho is good enough, you’re living in another world and that’s at the very best. If one of them gets injured, you have to rely on a young and inexperienced Elliot and a retired, slow, very mediocre Milner to get you 2nd in the league. Forget the terrible performances van djik and the rest of your team have put in this season, it baffles me that the owners actually thought they’d be fine to not get any good midfielders in the club to strengthen in depth.

SAF never gave excuses even in Glazers Era. He always introduced youth from youth squad, and reinvented the team every 5-8 years. Players like Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, Vidic, Ferdinand never gave excuses of being the so called "exhausted/burnt out".

Liverpool now looks very much like Klopp during his last year at Dortmund.

They were being compared to teams like prime Barca, prime Man Utd prime Madrid. It's understandable that players will get injured sometimes so the manager have to sort it out. Those United, Real madrid and Barca players also played 60+ matches for many years still they had the will to keep continuing. These are not the reasons to give excuses the manager Klopp should sort it out.

I’m actually seeing Liverpool fans saying they want Klopp out lol. I hope they know that the levels are going to drop significantly when he leaves.
