In this Windows 10 Tutorial I will be showing you a program called GlassWire which allows you to monitor all your network activity you will be able to see what programs are communicating with the internet and even if any malware is connecting aswell. It also has a built in firewall tool which will help block programs you don`t want to connect to the internet.

About GlassWire:
Use GlassWire's simple to use interface to view all your past and present network activity on a graph. Click the graph to see what applications initiated the incoming or outgoing bandwidth and instantly see what hosts the applications were communicating with. Hosts are automatically resolved and also include their country of origin. Click the Apps and Traffic options to break down network activity by applications and traffic types.

What's the difference between this and OpenDNS? Other than this needing a program download.

How do you add a specific program/app on their firewall list ?


I want to block about 50 out of the nearly 100 programs installed on my Windows 10 but only about 10 programs shows up on the Glasswire Firewall list. How do you achieve that with Glasswire ?

Yeah for some odd reason I am using alot of data & it's insane. My Xifnity just started over & in 5hrs reset I somehow used 15GB in 5hrs that insane! Almost 24hrs in I am at 31GB. 3hrs left til 24hrs...

No disrespect but why do you want to use GlassWire if you lack basics? Just for your own benefit, however you may know this by now - 192.168.0.1 is your router. Also, I would not advertise your MACs.
