Menstrual Hygiene Day Campaign 2019

Menstruation is an integral and normal part of every women's an girl's life. It is fundamental to their dignity and wellbeing, and is an important part of their basic hygiene, sanitation and reproductive health services.

Unfortunately, because of taboos and stigma, at least 500 million women and girls globally lack adequate facilities for menstrual hygiene management.

Join IFMSA and SCORA in celebrating this Menstrual Hygiene day, help break the silence and build awareness about the fundamental role that good menstrual hygiene management plays in enabling women and girls to reach their full potential.
