I got a refurbished model a year ago for around $350 and I have zero complaints. I have the 12GBRam/256GB storage model. The phone is powerful and fast. Great battery life. Beautiful display. Love how it feels in the hand. Amazing stereo sound. And no issues with the camera but I take a dozen photos a month so never been a huge priority for me.

And it's been updated to Android 13. It started with Android 11.

I probably will keep it another year easily. Says a lot for a nearly 3 year old used phone.

I have been using Oneplus 8T for 3 years now and have never used a mobile for 3 years in a row. Amazing mobile with great battery life, fast performance and decent camera.

I have pixel 7, i had pixel 6a, i have OnePlus 8T and i also use Samsung midranger i can definitely tell you that OnePlus is the better phone overall and its performance is the better one also the ui is flawless and very smooth on android 14 now, the only weak point is the camera department, pixel 7 is a beast on point and shoot

I own a OnePlus 8t, and a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra. And honestly, the size of the 8t just seems perfect. The s22 Ultra is a great phone, don't get me wrong. But I keep coming back to this 8t. It just feels right still I guess

it's the best phone I have ever used... I made an entire YouTube channel with the oneplus8t... I got the most viewed videos in Kenya and probably second or third in Africa videos made with the oneplus 8t

Been using it for a little over 2 years. Apart from the vertical lines that decided to pop up out of nowhere, this phone is still solid.

I love mine, so up to date with 120 hz, low weight, flat screen, 65 warp charge etc.. Camera is great too(if not low light).

OnePlus 8T owner here. I bought it in jan/feb 2022, so i've had it for about 15 months now. While i can agree that the newer software, mixed with the colorOS from the Oppo phones, is weird and very unlikeable, you can downgrade back to OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11. That's what I did. I know you don't have the advantages of the updates anymore, but for me the phone is still super fast and snappy, I don't encounter any bugs or weird glitches as mentioned in the video and I'm very happy with the phone. I can confirm that the camera is not the best in all scenarios, it's a pretty good camera, and a friend of mine who has been using the Galaxy S21 said they liked the photos of my 8T more. I also didn't have any issues with the battery. It's not a 2-day battery if you really have a lot of screen on time, but if needed it can last 2 days no problems. Again, this is with the older software (OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11). I could easily recommend this phone to anyone looking for a relatively cheap alternative but with good performance. Also the fast charging is amazing, 65W brick included in the box, half an hour of charging will get you a lot of battery that is going to last the whole day without any problems. the full charge is around 45 minutes, but i rarely charge it to 100 or wait for it to shutdown by itself because i want the battery to last a long time. I never charge overnight and the fact that i can charge it for even 10-20 minutes when i'm leaving the house in a hurry and it will give me enough juice until i get back is amazing, i've rarely been caught off-guard with the battery.
edit: i have the 8GB/128GB version. I would assume it can only better if you get the version with 12GB of RAM

I'm upgrading from a galaxy a01, I'm looking forward to using a phone with 12gb of RAM and 256gb of storage instead of 2gb of RAM and 16gb of storage

I bought it on the day of launch in October 2020... Still an awesome phone... Waiting for Android 14 update

Had mine since release, my only complaint is that it wont die and let me get a new phone (Dont actually need one, it does everything I need). Jokes aside I'd say the camera is lacking these days.
