Finally someone is actually doing there homework great segment Fr everyone is acting like usc is gonna be tha same defense tha last two years it’s completey different Fr simple and focused on developing and improving each week once they catch fire then they will get more effective on defense tha whole staff is new on Tha defensive side tha only concern is offensive and defensive stops like if USC is gonna put up 35 a game which is realistic then can they do tha and shut teams down in tha right moments they have tha key plays on defense and staff so if they can do tha and then offense catches fire whenever it does, can Tha defense make tha right time stops to then make it go from a 14-7 game to a 38-17 game then USC will have a type of defensive identity they been lackin fo a while Fr still got faith and can’t wait to see this happen then everyone tha love to hate on USC eitha acts suprised like a miracle or still hates on them or might even try and act like they knew this 😂💀

The Big 10’s Texas. One of the best offenses in the country but a complete inability to defend the pass

Riley needs a transfer qb like he always gets he can't never build a real qb

The fundamental problem, which OU fans can attest, is that Riley's version of the air raid offense wears down their own defense more than their opponents. When OU beat Ohio State at Columbus under Riley, the OU defense looked quite sound. But that was in September. By late October that same OU defense was leaking all over the place. Riley never was able to have a decent defense by November in any of his seasons at OU and the same seems to be true at USC.

Unless the offense takes considerably more time off the clock, the defense will wear down. But taking more time means making the offense less explosive which undercuts the foundation of the air raid.

Is anyone really surprised by Riley's lack of success? Lincoln Riley and Jimbo Fisher are beneficiaries of the most ridiculous contracts in football history.

Wrong. Tier 2 at least. look they can’t get worse. They’re at the bottom so any improvement, but with lens likely improvement not only they are stout defense, a strong defense they other teams to participate with. Now, if they even are just strong and better with that offense, you’re talking at least here too. No everyone’s undercutting them and I’m glad because that will then surprise a lot of people which is the best angle to come by. What’s gonna happen? Is that people will stop being surprised early on that’s gonna be the problem.

Coaches grow too, even Saban had to change up. Riley with new D hires knows both sides of the ball must be elite. Fight on to playoffs

Lincoln has done as bad a job at USC as Greg does at ESecPN.
