Where's Sasha? In labor and out the doggie door!

We've been expecting puppies for a couple of months now. We've built the whelping pen, purchased all the supplies we would need and just waiting for a temperature drop to get a day's notice of impending birth. By the size of Sasha's belly, we're expecting 10 puppies. Sasha sleeps with us so really didn't expect to not know that she had been in labor most of the night. And then the bed was wet and we knew it was time. Unfortunately we overlooking the escape doggie door, and out she went. But where is she? Hours and hours go by. Not under the deck. Not under the shed. No holes under the fence. Did someone steal her? No sign the gate had been opened. Did a cougar carry her off, heaven forbid? Come along with us while we figure it all out.
