Top 5 Giftable Board Game Accessories

Happy Holidays again, everyone! It's time for some last-minute shopping and giftables with some awesome board game accessories! Made to enhance the gaming experience with upgraded cards, pieces, boards, and more, they can be small or large, expensive or cheap. Check out my favorites!

Accessories for board games are a bit odd, and not something that I've discussed a whole lot on my channel. It's an enormous category that essentially just means "anything you get beyond the game itself", but often they're associated with improving the game experience and/or making things more efficient at the table. There's a lot of options and that means there's PLENTY that you can get for the gamer(s) in your life!

As always, I'm curious what you all have to say! What are your personal favorite game accessories, and why? What do you find makes a good game better when it comes to these aspects? Let me know in the comments!

I have a set of small collapsible silicone trays. They are great for putting resources in for various games and don't take up much storage space.

I would rather spend the money in a new game than in an upgrade, but I guess a good gift is something that you would never purchase yourself.


Having said that, here is what I have bought to improve my gaming experience:


1. Folding tables: Great to get more table space. Their main use for me has been getting the food and drinks away from the game to avoid accidents. Their use goes way beyond gaming, so those are great.


2. Custom/personalized glasses and Coasters: Everyone loves to have their own glass at my house, it makes them feel welcome and you always know which glass is yours.


3. Nice snack holders or tiny dishes: Great for putting the tokens and other components inside. Keeps everything organized at the gaming table. I love the ones made out of wood.


4. Dice: Plenty of them, so that everyone can have their own set of dice when they come to play.


5. Acquarium Glass Beads: Great for traking Hit Points, Spell Slots, etc.
