I finally got Tesla Full Self Driving (FSD) version 12 (12.3.4) on my 2017 Tesla Model S!!! This is my genuine first drive using the software!!

Hello from Canada.. Great and Insightful review. I purchased a 2017 Model S 75D (78K Km) which was made in Nov 2017 with hw2.5. I love the car and enjoying the advanced auto pilot. I do travel around 150 miles couple of days a week (highway and city roads). Do you recommend upgrading to FSD and does it make huge difference ? Do i need to upgrade the MCU 2 or can i just upgrade to hw3 with fsd ? Here in canada fsd with hw3 is costing approx 3100 CAD and MCU costs around 2800 CAD. If i had to choose one which one will you recommend. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Only wish my SO was as accepting of this incredible V12.3.4. Of course, as much as I do love her, she was one of the last people in the world to enter the smartphone market (I don't need all that stuff, she'd exclaim every time I tried to persuade her) but now she's an iPhone warrior and spends more time on hers than I do mine. So I guess what I'm acknowledging: it just takes time. Keep up the vids!

I see you are on 2024.3.15 in your 2017. My 2018 is now on 2024.8.9. Seriously makes no sense why I havent gotten the trial yet. Still gonna wait and see what Tesla does. Great video. Thanks.

Did you get the FSD appear as a software update download on your phone app or S... or did you avail it as an upgrade on the app to get the trial version FSD12.3.4…

How do you know you have the special "Legacy" edition of Model S? It doesn't say it in mine anywhere. Also, what additional features does the Model S Legacy edition have that the standard Model S doesn't?
Edit: Asking because I got V11 FSD running and am curious about 12.
Edit again: NVM you answered my question. My MS is apparently legacy but has MCU1. Thanks for the clarification
