This hits hard today, a very good friend of mine lost his battle to depression two weeks ago.
We both loved Beartooth they were the last band we saw together in concert.

Recently made the decision to go sober, and I’m only 8 days in. But I’ve exercised 7/8 days, I’ve called my mom nearly every day, I’ve been happier, healthier, and this album isn’t the only reason I’ve been able to but…it’s a huge part. This album gives me those goosebumps you used to get as a kid in church and thought it was the Holy Spirit. Keep getting better guys, everyday. And when you fail, listen to this again and stop wasting time. Go for a walk. Call your parents. Text and see how your friends are doing.

This song hits hard we lost our son to his battle with cancer a couple of years ago. This song could have been written for him. He started playing guitar at 15 and worked his way through a few bands. With his last band he got to go on tour and share the stage with so many bands he looked up to. He even married his soulmate. He was able to accomplish a lot in his 31 years of life . 🥰❤️

The timing of this song is pretty wild in my personal life. About a week ago I started reflecting on my mortality as part of my morning routine. I repeatedly ask myself “will I look back with regrets if I stay on my current path”.
