man this video deserves a lot more likes .
its a whole new level of explaining basic things .
instead of saying connecting a battery, you said taking charge from one plate and putting it on other..

You are awesome dude. This is the best explanation I have seen thus far. Thank you very much

Love your video... but the charge in the plates doesn't travel across each other.. just acumulate negative charge and influence the other side to attract positive charge.. if it would travel from each side to the other, it would be a simple connector I guess.. again.. loved your explanation on the voltage part :)

Excellent, excellent, job with teaching us about capacitor. I like you video because, because believe it or not some people believe they under how capacitor operator or work in electrical circuits. Most don't have clue. They test everything and replace what went bad. Not this doesn't make make than a bad Tech. No on the other hand they great Techs. They fix's things. And we need they people. The big problem if you send and engineer Electrical to teach new students, they such at it. Your is the 1st. video I watch, that I can recommend to people who come out of the closet, and say I really don't fully understand capacitors and work with them every day. This is AWESOME! But I have a question.

Why does genicon(?) knop keep spinning in the same direction when you stop spinning?

I think it should be spinning opposite direction because when you finished charging the cap, for example, left line pushing electrons, right side pulling electrons, then I think the electrons tended to move opposite direction where they came from resulting in opposite flow of electrons compared to charging situation. So the knob's spin direction might tend to be opposite because of opposite current flow.

What am I missing?
