iOS 17: iPhone Features I Want From Apple at WWDC

Apple is expected to announce its next major version of iPhone software, iOS 17, at its WWDC keynote on June 5. While rumors point to the software update being overshadowed by new Mac hardware and a long-rumored AR/VR headset, that doesn't mean the next version of iOS won't have significant features. Here are all the improvements and additions I hope Apple makes to the iPhone with iOS 17.

samsung much better now, i would only come back to iphone if they had split screen, live widgets, volume control per app, dual apps support, external desktop built in etc

The camera app desperately needs an update.
I tried to take a photo of an enormous hawk at my work that was about 50 feet away. No matter how I tried to manual focus or auto focus, all photos came out blurry. (I tried 30 times) I have no idea why it couldn’t get a decent photo.
I use the paid Camera+ now and wish the native app was more adaptable and adjustable like that.

If the volume buttons on your iPhone don’t work on the tv for Apple TV controls, it means your audio device doesn’t support changing volume over HDMI control (or it’s not setup). Unfortunately, while the physical remote has an IR sensor and can send volume controls that way, the iPhone doesn’t, so if the TV doesn’t support it over CEC (the HDMI control format) then there’s no other way for the iPhone to do it…

I've been saying for years that Apple is leaving money on the table by not releasing an iPhone Note device with a built-in Apple Pencil Mini.

It would sell well.
