Freddy, I have followed, and enjoyed, your channel for several years, and generally enjoy your content. However, the video today is an exception to your norm. I cannot express how much I enjoyed this tour. It felt like Christmas day for me as a child, when the next package to be opened seemed unlikely to top the one in my hand! Every time the camera took in a new focus, I found delight. We all have a favored car and model (MB 280c for me) and this treasure trove seemingly has parts for each of us. Thank you for giving this guy a chance to see sights that I would not have otherwise seen! Best wishes from Thailand!

The Alfa Romeo was a Montreal (1967 Worlds Fair debut in Canada). Had a 4 cam V-8 with a mechanical fuel injected, dry sump Hemi, with dual electronic capacitor discharge ignition, tungsten counter balance weights on crank, with LSD -designed by Marcello Gandini right after he designed the Lamborghini Miura.

Just astounding on so many levels. I’m from Europe and it blows my mind to see all this top cars just left for so many years. Here they just never would have been forgotten. If they had been left they would be rotten through. Amazing. Would love to here more about the owner of the yard

I can't be the only one who wants to go out and buy every cool car that's been wrecked/doesn't run now.... right

The "feature" on the Maybach maybe red running lights which were used on wartime cars. If so, pretty rare. Also, if it has the v12 kompressor it's very valuable.

The glass would be a huge investment over a lot of the other stuff. Body panels are easy enough to remanufacture. Glass however is not that easy and windscreens and so on for older cars will be insanely hard to get hold of so buying the glass will be a sure fire way of making money. Mechanical parts engines etc there would be a bit of money, body parts lights, chrome etc will go for big money.

Cars of those eras, I'm assuming were owned in the LA area, really do tell a story of the golden period of California/Hollywood when it was a special place (yes, 'was'). You can just imagine those Porsche 356's or a 300SL when they were brand new on the Pacific Highway. It's a time capsule and I challenge anyone not to get a bit warm and fuzzy looking at these cars.
Whoever kept these cars and parts, many of which were almost worthless at various points in time has done the automotive world an incredible service and have left a legacy... They're all so valuable now that even the most twisted and battered example is worth saving, and I hope they all get saved in some way.

Imagine being a restomod company like Singer... If you're not getting financial backers together to buy as many of those Porsches as possible you're insane. The engines and parts are unbelievable too... If you're a specialist Porsche or Mercedes restorer, those engines and parts are just a goldmine and years of future revenue just sat on shelves.

Anyway, I'll shut up but it's legitimately overwhelming for any car nut! Good luck to whoever bids, I hope everything goes to a good home and we see many of them restored and cherished again.

They Ever made 20 of those Jamara 400Gt with dual sunroof cars of total 328 cars. Also those were all in 3.9 V12 not v8 just like Espada, Jamara was on 11inc shortened Espada chassis. That next rusty one is Alfa romeo Montreal. Also 356 were flat-4, next to that low mileage 356 was standing rare carrera 356 what have 1500cc 4 cam carrera engine.

A decent mechanic these days is $100-$150 an hour. Now, imagine the cost for the true craftsman mechanics per hour that could tackle these projects as well as fabricate parts? Is a profit margin even possible?

Great video Freddie, At 44:25 onwards, That car reminds me of an Advert we had here in the UK advertising Panama Cigars with the slogan: “Super Wide Wheels” and the Chap driving drives through a narrow gate and rips the wheels off his Car! 😂 Anthony - Birmingham/UK 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🇺🇸
