I don't know, as a Hip-Hop producer myself, it's more so the drum samples itself we search for rather than using something like Boom with a plug-in. We either create our own drum sounds or stack several kicks. Same with snares.

This is a lot more difficult than most hip hop producers are making it. most hip hop producers just layer several kicks with an 808 compress the dog shit out of them and give 2 shits less about clipping. Brick wall limiting on the master bus in hip hop is very common these days because the goal for acts like Lil Wayne is louder is better.
