Its a really cool system imo. Seals just as well as pvc cement, requires no extra glues. Its a nice example of human ingenuity - basically using friction as a sealant

They're proving pex is breaking down from the inside out i guess that why it has a class action law suite .

So you uncompress the ring and it slowly goes back to its normal size which seals it? Crazy how this system seems better than copper
