Her and her husband now have multiple businesses and properties in Pawhuska. She should do the right thing and give back to Osage people.

I remember that a commentator reviewing the movie "Killers of the Flower Moon" asked the question "Why did the Osage women allow themselves to marry white men". Answer? Looks like they weren't given much choice.

I am SOOO glad somebody is bold enough to talk about this. . She is Anericas sweetheart but her husband inherited this labd through his family which knew what they were involved in. In 2010 when Ree Drummond came out as Food Networks star, she would talk about her husband being a " rancher!" When different journalist or food network did interviews on theur ranch, my eyes couldn't help but question how one person could acquire through " hard work, " the amount of land he had.

Fast foward, this movie comes out and I see a book flashed on the screen on opening credits. I look up the book and BOOM! It has the " Drummond, " name of the free pages to read. I look up Drummond and boom! Ree Drummond is connected. All those thoughts I had about her hisband those thousands of undesrrved acres gives me satisfaction to know, people who claim to inherit and work for everything will lie to keep you from knowing the truth. I hate these native people allowed this white people to destroy their lives.

It never stops colonization and slavery goes on even in this day in age. Caucasian still somehow make money off of our suffering and pain. How?

Let's be clear, Ree had nothing to do with these atrocious actions. She married into the Drummond family. It is not fair to put the spotlight on her because she is now a Drummond. She is obviously reaping the benefits of marrying into such a family, but she and her family were not involved in this. Ladd really had nothing to do with this either. It would have been his great grandparents and, to a lesser extent, grandparents living at that time. It goes back to the old saying the sins of our fathers. Could he do something, if not already, to give back to the Osage Nation in an effort to right some wrongs committed by his elders? Sure, he can do that, but he did not ask for this and obviously did not commit wrongs himself just by being a Drummond. It would be nice to see the Drummond family make contributions to the Osage Nation in some way. Maybe something like setup a scholarship fund for members of the Osage Nation. In reality, every single person in this country not of native ancestry can similarly be scrutinized for the sins of our fathers, our great great great grand fathers, for migrating to this country and taking land that once belonged to the respective native american nations at that time. Shame on all of us I guess.

Wow, that was amazing history. To make things right with the Osage all the Drummonds need to do is give back the land. How hard is that?

You got it right Dr. B! Native Americans history is just filled with incredible amounts of trauma. Can you talk in the future about the Manifest Destiny doctrine. Excellent job!
