Nothing seems to go right for young Kate, a frustrated Londoner who works as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop. But things soon take a turn for the better when she meets Tom -- a handsome charmer who seems too good to be true. When I tell you !!! I wasn’t expecting this twist at all. That moment when he told her the previous owner died last Christmas and the words “last Christmas I gave you my heart” hit me like a freaking truck. I was so shocked and I was SOBBING, what a great movie

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This scene is the saddest Christmas movie scene that I’ve bawled my eyes out on since Jack Frost (1998). Such a lovely made film. So much emotion captured...it’s truly heartwarming.

While this was very predictable the delivery was amazing. You can really sense her feeling of loneliness in this scene.

This is one of the biggest twists from a movie that I remember. Absolutely broke my heart, and turns this from your standard cheesy Christmas movie into a hard hitting, heartbreaking and great movie.
