The mouse is like that because they took the existing technology of the double A they be and just re worked it a bit, letting them use pretty much the same production process

I am kind of an Apple fanboy, I will miss Jonathan Ive, but I will never miss that Magic Mouse, most flawed mouse yet (even comparing it to real mice, like, the animals).
The iMac and iBook, PowerMac and PowerBook and iPod, iPhone, iPad, MacBook (including the Air and Pro), Mac Mini, Mac Pro, Apple TV, HomePod (mate who remembers this?), AirPods and basically every single Apple product was designed by him from 1998 up until his departure. Some of them look really nice like the first batch of iMacs and iBooks, and very specifically the iPhone 5C. My first pet peeve with this guy is when he decided to start designing software as well, and that lead to iOS 7 in 2013, and the whole world was never the same again. It was all flattened. I hated that design at first but later accepted it, and now, I love it. And you can't forget the Magic Mouse, I wanna burn that thing. Hey, remember when the design of the iPhone 4 was leaked? It looked really premium and still does, I actually will forever remember the 5C as just the best piece of garbage I've ever seen. It's the only device that looks good on iOS 7 in my opinion, simply because I just love those color options. Remember back in 2009 when they turned the iPod Shuffle into a buttonless stick? Jony was responsible for that. And I'm not gonna lie, that thing's basically unusable. Also, the PowerMac G4 Cube. It looked so good, it ran so bad, it flopped big time. I wish one day, Jony Ive could team up with Scott Forstall (the person responsible for designing software at Apple until 2013 when Ive replaced him) and Dieter Rams (a German designer who made some cool looking stuff under the Braun brand, including the ET66 calculator) and make a massive coffee table book featuring all of their masterpieces (and noob-pieces, lol), these guys are very awesome. All three of them.

I love how they called the magic keyboard and mouse but then when you look at gaming mice that can wirelessly charge, it makes it look outdated

Tho the mouse was trash - the 12 inch MacBook he designed does deserve some recognition - that laptop was so wonderfully designed and engineered!!

See a lot of clueless people in the comments. He designed the original iPod, iPhone, iMac, iOS 7, MacBook Air, even the Apple Watch. He left Apple because he had less freedom and the company focused more on the iPhones, making his job boring
