I don’t know what to call scenes like these.

Slice of life / filler? It does make the scenes feel more human and authentic.

Heck, they freaking humanized the assassins and it was wonderful. (They’re horrible people but it’s still great.)

Pu'erh (Mandarin pronunciation, Cantonese is bo-ley) is a black tea containing similar amount of caffeine to a cup of coffee. I'm getting a slight play on the two Asian characters who are not familiar with this very well-known ubiquitous Chinese tea.

That scene made my think as well: How come the younger one knows more about Chinese tea culture than the older one. So her assistant must be a Chinese spy. While the chief of staff clearly wasn't raised by Chinese parents.
