ARCHIVES: Remember this iconic 3NEWS song?

Remember TV3 back in the 70s and 80s and the iconic "Hello, South Texas!' song? We dug in our archives to bring it back for a Corpus Christi #waybackwednesday!

I remember the song "Still the One". Thanks for sharing video of Tom Nix. He was a super guy, and I miss him. Rest in peace Tom.

I also remember the temperature was cooler, 80s was fun, gas was cheaper, Americans were in love with their own country and Corpus was a.vacation pleasant town. Not this metropolitan bumper to bumper crime and drug infested town its turned out to be.

There was also a Country/Western version of Hello South Texas. I want to say it was being used until a little before Dan McReynolds started there. For anybody curious, look up Hello Calgary. At least until Channel 3 finds their version in their archives.
