Todd Trying To Trick Dad In To Staying Home

Todd knows I am leaving this morning on a business trip. Todd hates it when I have to go. Todd uses perfect kitty logic to try and get me to stay asking for me to play with him this afternoon so I won't go. Todd is never left alone when I travel. He always has my wife and the two other kitties with him.

Todd is a 7-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. Bring some food item back with you. My little dog knew that mommy worked to make money to buy him treats. He would wake me up and I got the impression couldn't wait for me to leave. When I would return he would be waiting for me on the window sill. I would take him to the store show him the money and come out with a treat for him. I loved that dog.

Todd is so adorable ❤ He wants to be with his daddy all the time. My sister's little dog would sneak into the back seat of her car and hide under the blankets when she was getting ready for work. She took him all the way to work before she realised he was there more than a few times and had to return home! We all miss the little fella 😢❤

All of the talking cats ive seen have used their buttons to try to convince their human to stay home from work, its so cute! Todd is definitely the most polite about it, though!

You can tell he respects your time and understands that you don't want to leave him, either! Explaining work as hunting is a very clever way to convey that concept, what a neat idea!

In trying to make Dad stay home, by having him commit to playing with the bubbles in the afternoon, Todd is demonstrating some complex thinking.
