Tens of Thousands March Against Pandemic Restrictions in Berlin

Police ordered demonstrators to break up their march through central Berlin after many of the 18,000 participants refused to wear a mask or respect social-distancing rules, a police spokeswoman said. A rally scheduled for later this afternoon to protest against Germany’s coronavirus restrictions will still be allowed to go ahead as planned.
