What's better than a custom Swiss Army knife with a scalpel, micarta plus scales, and red G10 liners? Two of them! :D Let me know what you think about this pair. Especially let me know what you think about the cutout for the scalpel.

My website for information on how to order a custom SAK:

The micarta plus scales are from Toet Sur on IG:

Beautifully done. The cut out is reminiscent of the early SAKs. I like it.

I actually like this one :)
Very cool custom build, this one could be actually good for camping!
Especially because you also have a small bit kit. Nice job

Happy Sunday Maestro FTS, once again you have produced a pair of unique modified SAK's which are both highly practical for day to day use & of great aesthetic beauty! Bravo!

Victorinox OUTRIDER before 2017 external sliding lock button.
- Main blade changed with a more consistent Morakniv spare blade stainless with a thumbstud for one hand opening.
- layering scales are aluminum on older model sometimes when they drop they result in bend...
- Can and Bottle opener are 91mm change with combo tool and a regular 91 main blade maked into serrated.
- scale try integration with traveller clock module, in same scale an integrated USB SD card reader and a pen with real tweezers not vic in the other...
this could be a perfect outdoor EDC

I do love the cutout… very clean and practical… it may not have shown clearly on my phones screen but I would assume the cutout is smoothly flush across both the micarta and the GT10 liner.

Another amazing mod. That red and micarta goes so well together.

Hey Cody!
How are you bud? Awesome build, as always!
By chance do you know where I can find just this tool to replace the scalpel blades?

I'm looking for a knife the size of the champ knife with a spiderco blade and a scalpel blade added in and maybe a couple more parts

Can you do a tutorial type video showing how to put a spyderco blade on a SAK

How did you cut into the G10/Micarta scales to create that finger-to-stud pathing for easier access?

Drooling yet again! You didn’t mention how you made that scalpel thing. Is it an actual aftermarket thing? Is it a commonly available part for folding scalpel form factors?

I can't find the small box to remove the scalpel blade, where did you find it?

cool knifes :) love the cut-out! received my late dads wenger EDC from service recently, they've replaced the wenger-scales and the new one has such a cutout too - making it very easy to access the awl (which was very hard to get out before that)

question about the bitholder: are there replacement-bits one can get? have a hard time finding others (different sizes aso, maybe even "replacement tools" to fit in there for bits one does not need)

FYI - saws are handled similar to blades by airport securities in europe... (well also a toothbrush (and razor) is considered dangerous nowadays.... but what you gonna do with them? "heads up everybody - we now fly to the location we all wanted to go in the first place, or i shave the stewardess and brush the pilots teeth")

Fabulous and inventive, quality fit and finish is magnificent. However my only gripe is that the the scalpel will get dirty and that’s why hospitals package them in sterile wrapping. Unless it’s just supposed to be the primary blade but why not use the original blade as it sharpens so easily.

Do you do these for people in England? I would absolutely love to get one of mine customised.
