I have to comment and say I just bought 2 of these Wampler Equator pedals....all I can say is WOW! I have a 76" Silver Face Deluxe Reverb that I've used for almost 30yrs. I always used a Boss Ge-7. When I plugged into my amp with the Equator pedal, I was able to dial in the BEST tone I've ever had with this amp. I think the Mid tone controls are the trick. OUTSTANDING JOB Brian!! You got this RIGHT! This is GENIUS!

I just got my EQuater today and holy shit it turned my JVM410 into a tight, singing monster. I am blown away at how positive an effect this pedal has on my JVM. I saa few comments about pedal noise but my Gstring noise gate has everything locked down completely silent and it’s great about having a happy medium where it’s not choking out my sustain or note length, but keeps the hiss dead silent even with the most extreme gain. Brian you develop some bad ass pedals bro and you’re a treasure to the “strung” community. Thanks so much for this device, it’s exactly what I needed!!!

Just rcvd mine today 😃 This Eq pedal is beyond amazing. Got it paired up with an OCD pedal plugged into a Gretsch Power jet & it blew me away. Amazing tones & excellent quality. Never knew what I was missing until now. Many thnx to Wampler pedals...🎸🎶😎

The BEST EQ for the money. Hands some. I have had the Boss XTS mod, MXR, ect and the Equator is miles above. Get this pedal. You will never look back!

Hey Brian would you ever consider revisiting this pedal in a V2 and add more shaping capabilities like Q width to the mid frequency bands, low and high shelving in combination with lowpass and highpass filters?

thing I like about the pedal is a sound engineer/guitarist will find this type of eq very versatile. love it. next, how about a programmable version of this analogue pedal to store different sounds so on the fly, live, make lots of changes. love your work Brian

Respect! You are not only selling your new product. You are explaining it to the point of selling Parametric EQ in general. Regardless of brand! You didn't end with the promotional voice saying "Go to your nearest music store to get yours today!". You say to try a Parametric EQ from you or anyone. RE-FUCKIN-SPECT!

Not a criticism so much as a quarter twist, but it is worth considering why such devices were historically called "equalizers". And that is because they were generally used to "flatten out" any peaks or dips in either the speaker system, the listening area, or both. In this application, the pedal is really for "re-voicing" the guitar to change the character, rather than smooth out any unintended resonances. Again, not a criticism, just a reframing of the purpose, as Brian nicely illustrated. Of course, what they were historically used for needs to be separated from what they eventually turned into in the hands of guitarists.

I encourage folks to consider moving this pedal *ahead* of the dirt pedals, instead of only using it after them. Both locations are useful. Brian illustrates how it can sculpt what comes out of a dirt box. Shaping the tone that *feeds* a dirt box can create different distortion "feels". Thirty years back I would stick a homebrew parametric EQ in front of my distortion to get "gronky" Billy Gibbons tones, and "cocked wah" tones. The grand-daddy of these things was the now long out of-production Akai G-Drive that included a 6-band EQ *before* the clipping and 6 bands *after*, to shape what they referred to as the "character" and "color" of the distortion. So experiment with this thing, and flip the order once in a while. YOu might stumble onto something you never expected, and like a whole lot.

Handy piece of kit, good for eq of guitars and amps, especially cutting and boosting the right mids. Good on ya wampler pedals.

I love the realistic statement about pot tolerances. Essentially, as long as your in the ballpark, don’t worry about it.
