Hope to see propaganda from other major powers such as Germany and USSR as well as smaller nations that survived long enough to print!

I might be naive but not once did I ever think that “He’s watching you” poster depicted anything other than a Nazi. Interesting way to look at it!

The OSS also descended into the modern USSOCOM. For example USSOCOM still uses the OSS insignia

When I went to the homefront museum on Saint Simons Island I actually got a poster that said :

Do with less so they’ll have enough rationing gives you your fair share

The he’s watching you ones, were placed in factories that were more secretive, it was not intended for the general population but more so for people that had already had the importance of what they were working on drilled into there heads, factory’s working on say prototype aircraft and the like but even into place’s making something that’s as simple as rations because how it was done was unique for the time,

I was discussing WW2 the other day with my dads best friend, and he said it best. We have it easy compared to what our grandparents went through, they lived through the Spanish Flu, WW1, the Great Depression, The Dust Bowl (which made them move from Oklahoma to California or Washington), then after all that to go fight in WW2. You couldn’t hardly get anything, everything was rationed, all the men were gone to go fight. Everyone was scared because for awhile we were getting our asses kicked, everything went towards the war effort because if the military lost then you were screwed. People nowadays have no idea what rough times are like, literally Coronavirus scared everyone to death

I think US ww2 propaganda was different, because of the use of humor to ridicule the Axis, thus making them seem weaker. Apparently one film short using actual Nazi footage set to a Spike Jones (comedy musician) tune really angered Hitler.

Another important goal was to explain why the USA was fighting in Europe and the far east. A lot of the country was strongly isolationist.
