RC99 - WWF/WWE Sky Box Office Theme

If you lived in the UK and Ireland, then after each PPV, you would have heard this theme play on Sky Box Office at around 4am. Great theme. I set this theme to the WWF PPVs from 1999.

Memories of falling asleep while watching a WWE ppv and waking up hearing this song was the worst feeling ever.

So many good memories, really takes me back. Staying up late to watch Wrestlemania or the Royal Rumble with my friends back In the late 90's or early noughties. I remember always leaving It on for awhile after the PPV had finished.

I personally first heard this theme when I recorded Summerslam 2002 on my VHS.

Seeing all of these old WWF promo posters is oddly nostalgic to me, even though I was only just born at that time and therefore never got the chance to truly appreciate wrestling during that era.

The one that stands out to me the absolute most is the Valentine’s Day Massacre poster with Vince McMahon holding the roses, not really sure why, I guess it’s because I like the angry scowl on McMahon’s face, and the Over The Edge 1999 poster, the event where Owen Hart tragically died.

I don’t know, I just like all the posters shown in this video in general. All the In Your House ones and everything. For those who don’t know, In Your House events were held during the months where there wasn’t already a major PPV event being held.

I was going to say. WWF attitude and pre Attitude PPV's were shown on Sky Sports, they didn't start doing PPV's on Sky Box Office until Channel 4's contract ended with WWF and no one could pick up their PPV's. Sky stepped in at the last minute in 2001 for the Royal Rumble being on Sky Box Office. For a few years from then on, some were on Sky Sports others now on Sky Box Office then they all went on Sky Box Office but no 90's PPV was on Sky Box Office.

Thank you so much for uploading this. Reminds me of Sky Sports at around 4:15am after a 1999-2001 ppv event. My dad would stay up religiously to record every single of them and this music is still on the end of the VHS tapes I still own. Again, thank you, this brought back wonderful memories of the WWF and my life at their peak.
