If you are refused a visa there are a number of options before you in most cases. Appealing the decision at the Administrative Appeal Tribunal (AAT) is one option but sometimes applying again for the same visa or perhaps a better-suited visa is something to examine.

With the recent changes in the Section 48 rules, those visas now exempt are, Partner Visa, Protection Visa, Medical Treatment Visa and the 494, 491 and 190 visas.

I’m kinda in a situation where I might get Visitor 600 refused (on-shore application). The reason for this application; is that past the 28 days (after student 500 expired ) I received invalid application for 485. Thus; I applied for visitor 600 to stay legally in the country.
