Jack passed away recently. He was my high school history teacher for 2 years...taught me more critical thinking skills without bringing personal politics in....never knew he was a hard core liberal until long after graduation....good teacher doesn't need politics in the classroom.
He kept us going with great music during break periods too. We often gathered in his room on his lunch and picked a little until had to get to next class.
