Hello Asiya, I had my exam on 1st of Oct. It went well surprisingly, scored an 8 (L=8.5, R=9.0, W=7.0, S=7.5) with a week of preparation, and let me be honest I binged watched all your videos and suggestions (even subscribed to your telegram) channel. I really would like to thank you, as the I had no clue about what IELTS is, and watching you videos and the explanation on each sections of exam, the pointers and key focus areas you provide was really usefull.

Also this may help, for my speaking I had the following:
Introduction: hometown, do I like where I love, to describe my favourite room, and why is my favourite. What are the activities i like to do.

Cue card: describe a situation when I was surprised recently. What the suprise was. Did it make me happy.

Follow-up questions: (if I remember vaguely it was all about happiness) why is it imp to be happy, does people in a society need to be happy, why think positive, do countries need to ensure the happiness of its citizen (something these lines...).

Hi! I’m from Tashkent! Recently, on 27th Oct. I passed my exam. On Monday I received my results, overall 6.5 (first attempt). About speaking, I had questions: first part - work, second part was about English lesson that I enjoyed, the 3rd part related to the 2nd ; however, there was one interesting question about childhood and poems, if I like to write them or not. For the speaking I got 6.5, and as I mentioned it was 1st attempt. After the test I realise my mistakes and next time I’ll try to avoid them. For the writing I got 5.5, even though thank you, because of you I can say for sure how to use linking words, synonyms, structure sentences, etc. ❤

Hello, Asiya. I took the exam on October 29 and I have to say it's all thanks to your videos that I got the desired band score for both writing and speaking. Thank you so much 💙

My Topics are:

Writing
Part 1: a line graph shows the length of railways in 4 countries in 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010.

Part 2: There are more children and teenagers committing crimes these days.
Why does this happen?
How should the young criminals be punished?

Speaking
Part 1: about my house, the room I like most in the house, etc

Part 2: Describe a family member you would like to work with in the future.

Part 3: Why do you think some people prefer to work in big companies?

Is there any benefits to working in small businesses?

What do you think will happen to small businesses in the future?
(Follow up to this question)
Will they thrive or cease to exist?

Hi Asiya, my exam (academic) was on 27Oct2022 in India. I achieved a total band score of 8 (R: 8.5, L: 8.5, W: 7, and S: 7). You played a greater part in this. Thank you! 😇

Test questions included -
Part one writing: a bar graph depicting the number of people born in and outside Australia, living in villages, towns and cities. Second part: to opine and explain, if it is a positive or negative impact on the places and people living in remote areas due to increased tourism.

*Speaking: first part was the city where I live (also included about how well can I use maps and if or not I like to study geography). In the second part, I was asked to explain which place would I suggest as a tourist spot in India, for my friend who is visiting. Third part was an extension for the second part: “do you think cameras are necessary for tourists”; “how can government control mass tourism”; “do you think the environment is having a negative impact because of tourism", etc.
