It hurts when a back hand hits your mouth. Muller just dropped down and checked his teeth and mouth. To dive means also to do some more show to fool the refm Muller did nothing in that direction, he even not looked, just checking his teeth

I am not sure what the ref should have done when Pepe just had done nothing a expressed some sorry, with a good chance the ref had done nothing, not even a yellow card.

It was the head thing which gave Pepe the red card. Its not even a head butt, but thats not the point: Its the gesture, what Pepe tries to express with it - that a clear unsporting behavior, and the rules are clear here, thats a red card.

No need to blame Muller, he is not a diver and even if you think so, this as dive, sitting with the back to the ref and just checking the teeth is, is not worth to make a ref to grap for a red card.
