Zabbix Agent Scalability

Zabbix agent is a known component of Zabbix, and most likely not many new things that I can tell you about it. Still, many folks want to do sort of Load balancing from one agent between multiple servers or proxies, which sometimes leads to some very strange issues. So let's cover is it even possible, and what are those strange issues that could happen.

Great topic)) As i see we can use multiple zabbix servers to monitor the same host but they will store it in different db isn't it? But what i wander is that, can we use single db single zabbix server and multiple proxy's for same monitored servers? So for ex. we have zabserver, db (on zabserver), proxy1, proxy2, we are monitoring everything via proxy1, is it possible if proxy1 goes down, proxy2 takes its place gather data and sync it same zabserver db? I make focus on proxy because without it we won't get any data in case of failure, but another question will be, is it possible to have multiple zabbix server with synchronized db?
