Depending on the era people variously cite Metropolis or Octavarium as THE defining DT song but there's a strong case to be made for Count of Tuscany as well.

The Count of Tuscany was the best single of Black Clouds and Silver Linings albums, , and that was one of my favourite all of dream theater song after In the Presence of enemies. we love The Count of Tuscany.
