Button Quail Chick Stuck In The Egg.

This is just a video on how sometimes a baby chick will not hatch on time and will need a little help. make sure you have the time to do this and not rush it. all babies birds need time to hatch.

OH MY CUTENESS!!!! Thanks for posting this!! I have two diamond dove eggs that are due to hatch tomorrow and I'm already hearing tapping in the eggs. I'm trying not to disturb them too much because the parents don't really like it!! But hopefully now I'll know what to look out for!!

you are so welcome and congrates on the new babies..this is normal but always remember when they hatch just let them hatch and keep the humidity high during hatch like 75% and they will all hatch but 2 that did not make it is still very very good. great job..:)

Hi thanks for that iv just hatched 19 button quail for the first time . Two died trying to get out of the egg they got stuck and the shell dried out . I didn't know you could help them out like that. It has been a very helpful Visio thanks. Sharon Dublin Ireland

when you have pets and they lay eggs to quikly learn to google everything...lol.. also I have been doing this for about 22 years..OMG thats a long time to say out loud...hahha i fell old now.;) have a great weekend..

well one thing is never open the incubator while they are hatching because 20 seconds of it being open has changed the humidity and heat levels so much that the membrane is shrunk wrapped. so make sure the humidity is high and keep watching and listen for cheep cheep sounds every once in a while if you see the beak moving but no sound then it's shrunk wrapped and you need to do what i did in this video..:)

Hello, I have a few questions ... How long do u keep them in Incubator? What Do you feed them After they hatch? Do you need to show them how to eat or will they to Figure it out. Hi there, I have a single baby quail hatched yesterday, the only one that made it.  At the moment it's down my top for heat and it's happy because it's not complaining.  How do I teach it to feed and drink on it's own?

Hi Charlie!!! I love all your button quail videos. I have 3 button quails and 2 parakeets and if your a first timer and dont know what to do. What should i do if you button quail is stuck in the egg like that because I dont want the chick to die?
