For $80ish, 154, micarta and CF bolster perfectly blended together. This one brings a good amount of premium to the upper budget territory. The look with material choices and shape are killer 👌🏼 154CM is one of my favorite premium budget steels. 👍🏼

Good knife overall 154CM is a great user steel works great and easy to maintain. Awesome review, love QSP just wish a little more thought went into the little details. keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I didn't notice the grind being off, which is odd for me because that usually stands out for me. Once you pointed it out, I checked my other one, and it is even. I got 2 because my girlfriend bought me one not knowing I had already bought one, so I ended up with 2. The other one is the brown micarta, which is ok, but I prefer the black, or even the green one. No big deal though..I love that she bought me a knife, and a pretty decent one at that! She did good. I like the blade finish. It almost looks hand rubbed. Pretty cool for a knife in this price range. The jimping is more for the front flipper than traction when cutting. It isn't very effective for that, but works good for the front flipper.
Good review bro. You go pretty in depth compared to other reviewers. Just one of many reasons I like your channel, and have stuck with you for so long!

I had the same thoughts when I ordered this knife and after two days, I returned it.
I still liked the knife and I like QSP but not enough to keep this one.

You nailed it Jerad them damn high polished liners, the pocket clip and even the blade finish is too shiny for me. It looks like they just took the liners and clip straight off of the penguin. Which is a damn shame as I really do like how this looks I really love the blade shape but it is just that cheap arsed shine kills it. Have a beautiful day J&K stay safe and healthy both 🫵🏻😘👍🏼

I like the overall design, but no lanyard hole or rod is a no go for me, and I agree that clip in go way goes with that knife.

I actually had one that I had to send back to them because it had the worst lock failure I’ve ever witnessed on a knife. so I’d make a suggestion that you do check that one because all I had to do was tap the spine on the table and it would fail

The grind on mine is a bit off also. Nothing serious, just near the tip. I agree the clip could've had a little more thought put in. Ordered the new Penguin Ti framelock too. If you havent seen that one yet, might be worth checking out. Cheers for the great content mate.

The clip should be black... possibly a wire clip like spyderco.... like you said it's budget friendly so of course you would never expect a milled titanium clip, but that clip does look out of place on that otherwise pleasing to the eyes look.
I really like the aesthetic of the color scheme but honestly I'm never going to buy this knife for like $85.
