More than a year since Elon Musk took over Twitter, and the platform has become a far more divisive place. So, in this video, we're taking a look into how Twitter transformed into X, Musk's personal politics, and why the platform almost looks doomed to fail.

The best example of how business savvy Musk is is two years after he he rebranded it, all media outlets still have to refer to it as "X, formerly known as twitter".

Rebranding Twitter to X is genuinely (without honestly any competition) the dumbest re-brand of all time. Twitter had such a strong brand to the point its form of posting on it had a dictionary definition. X says nothing, doesnt roll off the tongue at all, and nobody likes the name. The only reason it hasn't fully collapsed is because of cultural inertia. We expect to find celebs and journalists using it as their main method of communication with their fans/viewers. If that went away, no-one would use it. over 80% of tweets come from about 10% of users. It's a channel for a few big hitters and addicts.

Musk seeking legal action against ad agencies that pulled out may be one of his stupidest decisions yet. No matter the outcome of such a case, any advertiser will think twice before rekindling their relationship with Twitter even if Twitter addresses their current concerns. Who wants to do business with a company that drags you to court when you decide to spend your cash elsewhere?
