2020 Toyota Hilux V6 Adventure Review: Is it Invincible?

We're finally getting the offroad Toyota Hilux we've always wanted - and with a beefy V6 engine. Is it the unbreakable offroad monster Imthishan always wanted?

Definitely jealous, I have a 2007 with this engine, they last forever, you can supercharge them up to 500+hp and still be reliable. Unfortunately, here in Australia, were stuck with a strung out four pot diesel as the only option since 2018 because people are obsessed with fuel economy.

Really wish they bring back the 1GR v6 for Hilux to Australia instead of stuck with 1GD 2.8 Diesel.

A bit late now, but how about the Fortuner V6 as a good option between the all out utility of the Hilux and the higher-priced all rounder that is the Prado?

In alot of countries the Hilux has alot of history compared to the Middle East being used as a commercial beat up truck ... and no its not famous from top gear .. in alot of country that Hilux is known for its do it all Family, work, fun and adventure truck ... y'all spoiled for getting the V6 ... elsewhere we can only dream... but the legendary diesel engine we got in this parts of the world Australia and the South Pacific it's respected and has never failed us ...

Why are there so many different variants of this model? Seems like almost every market has a different name for it. There's Adventure, Invincible, Conquest, Rouge, Rocco, L-Edition & Black Rally Edition 😂

Seems like a nice vehicle. Makes me realize Ranger needs a powerful petrol engine. I enjoyed your review only not at the time when you used our lords name in vain.
