This video is an explanation and demo of the map() operator in RxJS.

In this series on RxJS we explore commonly used operators that can enable us to efficiently write reactive programming code in our Angular applications. Join us as we take a deep dive into utilizing RxJS in Angular!

We explore operators such as: catchError(), concat(), debounce(), debounceTime(), distinctUntilChanged(), filter(), first(), forkJoin(), map(), scan(), startWith(), switchMap(), take(), tap(), and withLatestFrom(). This may sound like a lot, but this is just a small selection of operators available to us when using the RxJS library.

Thank you all for the feedback on this video series. It was recorded at a local meetup here in Denver last year as an attempt to help people gain some insight on how the operators work in RxJs. We know that these videos might fall short of expectations, especially when it comes to mastering the operators, which is a huge undertaking. That said, we are committed to creating a new training class on RxJs operators that will be coming out this spring.
