A member of the group Los Umbrellos is Al Agami, born Julius Robert Aleni Agami, who in addition to being a rapper and singer he is also a prince, son of King John Bart Agami from the Kingdom of the Central African Kingdom Lado, which was part of Uganda. The family had to flee from the dictator Idi Amin in 1975. He now lives in Denmark.

OMG I haven't heard this song in years, almost forgot it existed but man, the memories all came back to me once the chorus kicked in! Such a nice feelgood summer song :)

Heard this a lot in 98' on an underground radio station. My 11 year old self loved the ladies voices. The good ole days..

At long long last, I found this I've been typing any random words but got no luck. I started looking for this song way back 2011. Thank you

I first heard this song while deployed and partying in Australia in the late 90s. Brings back great memories. If i’m not mistaken, the song seemed to be a huge hit over there, but i barely heard it once i returned to the US. Anyway… i can’t think of a catchier and more hypnotic chorus than the one in this song. Those girls don’t sound like native Spanish speakers, but their delivery is beautiful

Sampeled from the 1960-song 'Les Enfants de Pirée (Children of Pireaus)'. Melina Mercouri (18 Oct. 1920 - 6 Mar. 1994) singed that song in the by Jules Dassin directed romantic comedy 'Jamais le Dimanche/ Never on Sunday (Poté tin Kiryaki)', where she played the role of the free-spirited prostitute Ilya.
