Redesigning Quora | UX/UI Speed Design

In the 59th episode of Demystifying Design, I'll be redesigning Quora!

The goals of this redesign were to make it easier for users to:
1. Ask questions for which I’d like an answer.
2. Search for others’ questions that may already have answers.
3. Sort answers by various criteria.
4. Get an AI answer to see if that fits my needs.
5. Follow individual users if I like how they think.
6. Answer others’ questions.
7. Access my account menu, settings, etc.

This entire redesign took me about 4 hours to complete (over 1 day). Hope you enjoy!

1. At the end of the video in final result, having the current design alongside your redesign and maybe explaining the changes you did visually side by side.
2. Have you thought of exploring more of the UX side of things with a multi-page redesign of an exisiting design that has terrible UX.
3. Maybe a video or videos exploring tips, extensions, tools and techniques you use.

Great work as usual! This definitely simplifies things. Btw for the AI part, pretty sure that Quora has something called "Sage" instead of chatGPT, so that's a section you can try implementing. Solid job though!

How you pull the style guide of the brand like colors, typography at first place, is there any kind of extension or Figma plugin-in may be?
