Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder made headlines earlier this month when they announced their off-screen breakup. "Vampire Diaries" fans whimpered into their own diaries over the thought that this couple of three years was really over, but found comfort knowing that they would remain friends and not see their precious show become compromised.

for marrying Ian without letting Nina which used to be one of her best friends know and for destroying their perfect relationship, They had a chance of getting back together but of course NIKKI came in and ruined everything. i love Ian and Nina in tvd and real life, i feel like they meant to be together, the connection between them i just cant shake it you know. but i love ian very much, and im tryin to be happy for him bcs he's married now. im not saying that i hate nikki bc honestly we all dont know the real story, only they are. but i just wanna say i loooove when ian and nina together

I also want them back together because I feel that once you love someone you never lose that love. I don't understand how people can say about their ex's: "I no longer love them." Hopefully they can work out any issues they have and be together again.
