I went to Cuba a month after Obama declared the American embassy open in Havana and 2 months before he actually visited Cuba himself. What a fabulous country! It stands out as the safest place I've ever been. I could walk the streets after 11 pm with young men standing in groups along my way, and I was never harassed or felt threatened even the least bit. They're welcoming, hospitable, musical, artistic and happy people. It was one of the most memorable trips I've ever taken. On the way to the airport the day I left, the taxi driver and I had a heartfelt conversation about our families and how politics, in the case of America and Cuba, have kept our people divided for foolish reasons. When he dropped me off and got my bag out of his trunk, we both had tears in our eyes, and we hugged. I will never forget that wonderful experience I had with that Cuban taxi driver. I wish all the very best to the people of Cuba.

I just came back from Habana and what an amazing moment it was to come across this very same band on Obispo Street after my having watched this video SO many times in the last few years. The singer is a little older now and a couple of the members are different. I took a picture, but not a video. Viva Cuba.

i love how cubans don't plan any concerts or anything. they just freely sing and dance everywhere they like and want and don't even have to worry about it, couse in cuba you can express your traditions how much you like without having embarassment or shame of it...they'll still absolutely welcome you and admire you.

I've been listening to Mambo/Salsa music since the early 70's; I'm also a mambo/salsa dancer. It's a tremendous pleasure to be able to listen and enjoy the talent that has been withheld by no fault of their own now on YouTube. Wow !!! amazing, talented singers and musicians in Cuba. I've heard of the greats i.e. Celia Cruz, Buena Vista, Beny More, Lupe, Cachao, and Machito to name a few but now Cuba has all this talent that's being expose on the social media stage and I am so glad to be able to enjoy this beautiful music.
