Whether he groomed this young boy-come-man or not. The fact of the matter is this, he was having sexual relations with a young runner behind his family’s back and he binned him off and lied to the public with his “coming out” speech when the young man told him that he was going to expose him. He even lied on tv to the paying public by saying “this was all my own choice and nobody forced my hand”.

The ITV then “promoted” him and palmed him off onto another show. The ITV and it’s producers, executives, whoever are just as guilty.

Dermot is clearly visibly uncomfortable about this whole charade and rightly so. I bet he wants to speak his mind but knows that it will come at a cost for him.
