Grew up in a little salvage yard in southeast MN had a RX3 with a small factory Holley 4brl it had straight exhaust that was broke off just behind the transmission it would completely bury the tach needle in the first three gears. A friend of mine taught me how to use the emergency brake so we would get going about 70mph and put it in reverse and dump the clutch and do that one night we were doing second gear pit style burnout until both rear tire was completely gone to the beads and then it quit just when we decided to get home because the right rear tire tore the wires going to the fuel pump the next morning a guy junked another one so we had a couple more sets of tires and rims to run like someone just wanted us to keep going. We ended up taking it to a mud truck meet and after launching some jumps ran it into the end of a soil conservation terrace and rolled it three times back to its wheels and then let the trucks run it over. I wish I would have saved the engine but I didn't know much about them and I think it used a bit of coolant.
