Because no nfl doctors would give TO the ok to play in the Super Bowl, he was forced to sign a waiver that he wouldn’t sue the NFL regardless of what happens, if he wanted to play. I don’t think there’s too many players that would do that in the prime of their career. Typical eagles forget about that when he wanted a new contract. They knew he was going to ask for one before they traded for him, then they make him look like the bad guy.

This entire entire episode happened because Donovan McNabb publicly back Brian Westbrook in a contract year. Owens wanted new deal. McNabb did nothing matter of fact refuse to talk about it. McNabb was jealous about Owens from day one. We seen it here in Philly McNabb was a baby.. Owens mouth was a problem but was worth it. One guy played on one leg catching over 100 yd in the Super Bowl and the other one threw up in the huddle so there you go
