Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be.

Chapter 2 Sloka 12
In this sloka what i learned is : there is a natural inclination towards bhakti, towards bhagawat geeta and towards krishna, its because of lords mercy.
In this age of kaliyuga we must be very careful on hearing. I.e from whom we are listening. Means the one who is speaking must be a enlightened master or one who comes from guru sampradha.
Also when we die, we will stay as an individual. Means breaking a cycle of birth and death will connect our aatma with paramaatma but will not dissolve our individuality rather our individuality will remain same as it is.

My realizations after hearing and reading today's sloka a day BG 2.12

In this sloka krsna is saying-
♦️never there was a time when I did not exist
♦️never there a time when u did not exist
♦️never there was a time when all these people does not exist
♦️In future also there will never be a time all these personalities will not exist

♦️so here krsna is saying we all exist all the time
♦️In this sloka krsna is talking about soul, not about body
♦️This sloka is very important to know our identity and individuality, individuality about soul
♦️Soul is eternal, ever existing and primeval
♦️In vedas, it is mentioned that there is one supreme personality who is eternal and maintaining everyone(krsna)
♦️There are many living entities they are also eternal, and they are maintained by krsna
♦️so, krnsa is individual, we are also individuals
♦️we were there in past
In present we are individuals
And in future also eternally we are individuals even after breaking the cycle of birth and death
♦️so soul does not merge into any light or any thing, it is individual, eternal and ever existing
