I've always wondered why is it that in one breath Christians will tell you God is within you and then the next breath they will tell you that salvation lies only by following their specific rules.

But we as Christian’s know we have God within us. We receive His Body and Blood and by doing this we are one with God. When I say Body and Blood I don’t literally mean eating flesh and drinking blood. Only silly people make these claims. We know our religion and we know our books and yes I’ve read the so called “banned” books and btw they are not banned, the early church fathers choose which gospels would capture the hearts of people and they choose the gospels that told the story of Christ prophecy of Birth, his miracles, his rejection, his sacrifice, his death and his resurrection and his ascension. The gospels that told these stories which was the easiest for people back that that was mostly illiterate so they could understand the main stories of our Lord and Saviour. We also have the Crucifix for yet again back then people who never met Christ and this was to show those people how our Lord was crucified and also we have icons to show the people so they could put a face to the person spoken of in those gospels. Sin means to miss the mark or the target. Yes if we were told that the kingdom of God is with in us and around us some of the church would be very upset. The truth is what we have inside us will save us but if you can not find what was given you can not be saved.
